- The three documented weapons below require level 70 and list item level 990.
- Soulrender is listed for Warrior/Sorcerer, Violet Skybow for Hunter, and The Grandmother for Warrior/Sorcerer/Monk.
- Listed weapon DPS is not a complete build comparison; procs, damage conditions and skill bonuses matter.
Three documented Divine weapons
| Weapon | Class requirement | Damage / Speed / listed DPS | Unique effect summary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Soulrender | Warrior / Sorcerer | 290 / 1.20 / 348.0 | Hits build Harvest of Souls; 25 stacks release a forward soul wave. |
| Violet Skybow | Hunter | 315 / 1.10 / 346.5 | Attack hits have a chance to trigger Arcane daggers at the target. |
| The Grandmother | Warrior / Sorcerer / Monk | 430 / 0.80 / 344.0 | Adds Critical Hit Chance and Critical Hit Damage. |
These are named examples, not a complete Divine weapon list. The table deliberately keeps the tooltip’s weapon DPS separate from character damage: it does not include your skills, talents, proc uptime or the conditions on other attributes.

Soulrender: read the updated trigger
Soulrender’s item description says every hit grants a Harvest of Souls stack. At 25 stacks, Soul Impact sends a wave forward for 800% Weapon Damage as Physical Damage and applies Dazed once to each enemy hit.
This matters when reading older build descriptions that present the stack as a chance-based proc or describe a blast centred on the character. Official announcements record the every-hit stack change and the later forward-travelling wave. Use the updated behaviour when evaluating the item; do not assume Dazed means every other crowd-control category.
Skybow and The Grandmother solve different problems
Violet Skybow is a Hunter weapon. Its attack-hit proc has a listed 20% chance and releases multiple Arcane daggers, each dealing 275% weapon damage as Arcane. The tooltip does not give the dagger count, so it cannot support a reliable total-damage calculation by itself.
The Grandmother instead lists a unique bonus of 5% Critical Hit Chance and 120% Critical Hit Damage. Its attributes also include Strong Attack Damage, damage against Healthy enemies and Life on Hit. A slower weapon with those bonuses should not be rejected solely because its listed DPS is slightly below another item’s.
Decide whether to keep it before modifying it
If you are deciding between equipping and selling a Divine drop, pause before socketing it. In an October 6 trading question, a community reply said modified equipment could no longer be sold. That is a player report rather than a complete verified binding rule, so inspect the item’s current trade status and any in-game warning first.
For personal use, check class eligibility, your main attack and the conditions your build maintains. For a sale, check the current listing rules before changing the item. A rare weapon is only an upgrade if you can equip it and make use of what it does.
